The Value of Social Sustainability in Construction

The tree shown in the photo was moved to its habitat during the construction of the Last Mile logistics warehouse in Udine. For Kontractor, it was meaningful to collaborate with Hattiva Lab Cooperativa Sociale, which supports young people with disabilities and in difficulty, and with Goodman Italy to save it. A blooming tree always represents the triumph of life.

Building, living and working in properties that help reduce environmental impact makes everyone more aware of the importance of each person's commitment to the planet and the environment. The shared objective of sustainability creates a bond of responsible trust among all stakeholders who live and work inside and outside a property.

This applies to the General Contractor who builds, and to everyone who will use and inhabit the building, appreciating its functionality in management, the comfort of its spaces, and the efficiency and reduction of energy and water consumption.
The relationship with the territory in which a property stands is decisive in our corporate philosophy.
It is a relationship that must be carefully "built", always starting from listening, with a view to creating shared value for the benefit of the community.

For this reason, even before administrative and authorisation procedures, Kontractor starts a dialogue with associations, especially those in the third sector, active in the local area, in order to activate collaborations and initiatives that support their work.

In 2023, Kontractor established a relationship with Crescendo Insieme, an association founded in Colleferro (Rome) in March 1996 by the families of people with Down syndrome, with the aim of sharing experiences around the birth, growth, development and social inclusion of their children. Over the years, thanks to the support of volunteers, it has created many experiences, activities and projects.
Our collaboration with them stems from our desire to support local associations. Because it is possible to work well, while doing good.
