Success for the Wheels That Unite Event with Alvaro Bautista and Niko Tremolada!

Kontractor by Kopron is pleased to announce the outstanding success of the Ruote che Uniscono event, which took place on 21 May at the Top Fuel Racing kart circuit in Vignate (Milan). The event featured guests of honour Alvaro Bautista, renowned Aruba.it Racing-Ducati rider and SBK World Champion, and Niko Tremolada, founder of Wheelchair Karting a.s.d..
The Ruote che Uniscono event celebrates the values of inclusive sport.
The event, dedicated to clients, suppliers and consultants in the industrial and logistics Real Estate sector, celebrated and promoted the values of inclusive sport and how sport can become a way to overcome one’s own limits.
The motto of Wheelchair Karting, «Always believe and never give up», deeply resonates with the essence of the event, highlighting how perseverance and determination are fundamental to success — values embodied by both Alvaro Bautista and Niko Tremolada.
The press conference was hosted by sports journalist Fabio Fagnani, who moderated an engaging discussion, highlighting the meaning behind the extraordinary stories of Bautista and Niko Tremolada.
During the conference, the fundamental concept of teamwork emerged: the rider is the frontman, but behind him there is the coordinated work of a team that makes victory possible.
This principle was emphasised through the story of Alvaro Bautista, current WSBK World Champion, and his transition from MotoGP to Superbike, where he achieved the title of World Champion. Bautista won his first world title in 2006 in the 125cc category, showing his extraordinary potential from a young age. He later claimed the WSBK World Championship title in 2022 and 2023, establishing himself as one of the most competitive and successful riders in motorcycle racing.
This concept of teamwork is also particularly evident in the context of Wheelchair Karting, where the collaboration of 51 volunteers made the creation and growth of the association possible, demonstrating how unity and cooperation are essential to overcome challenges and achieve great goals.
The evening was enriched by a karting competition entitled Bautista vs Niko: Diversity is only in the eyes of the beholder. Disability without borders, involving 8 clients selected by draw by Alvaro Bautista. These lucky clients had the privilege of racing with two great champions, enjoying a unique and unforgettable experience.
