School Competition 2026 An Equitable and Sustainable Future: Kontractor and Kopron Promote Young Talent
26 Mar, 2026
The second edition of the School Competition 2026 An Equitable and Sustainable Future: is now underway: an initiative promoted by Kontractor and Kopron, in collaboration with FAR Networks and ATS FAAR Industries, with the patronage of Assolombarda and RE.Log Hub, aimed at upper secondary schools in the Adda Martesana area, with the possibility of extending it to other schools in Lombardy.
Following the positive response to the first 2024–2025 edition, the initiative is expanding with the aim of engaging students and teachers in a concrete reflection on social equity, inclusion, and environmental sustainability, key themes also at the heart of Kontractor’s vision for responsible development.
An educational project to imagine the cities of the future
The competition invites students to reflect on what it means to live in a fairer, more inclusive, and environmentally respectful city, imagining how the community could evolve in the coming years.
Through creative and multidisciplinary languages, participants are invited to turn ideas and values into projects capable of fostering civic awareness and care for the local area..
Thematic areas of the competition
The projects may be developed by choosing one of the following areas:
- Art that regenerates – works and installations that enhance and transform community spaces.
- Stories of the future – stories, poems, comics, or graphic novels dedicated to an equitable and sustainable city.
- Voices and performances – theatre, music, and dance as tools for raising awareness.
- Creative technologies – videos, podcasts, digital works, and AI art to tell the story of a sustainable future.
The goal is to inspire change by promoting a concrete vision of an equitable and sustainable future.
Project enhancement
The selected projects will be evaluated by a Committee composed of company managers, representatives from the world of research and institutions, and will be publicly promoted through the communication channels of the organizers and partners. All details regarding evaluation criteria and awards are available in the official call for entries.
How to participate
Participation in the competition requires registration by January 16, 2026 via the online form.
«For Kontractor, sustainability also means investing in new generations, promoting educational pathways that combine creativity, responsibility, and attention to the social and urban context. Schools are the starting point for spreading a sustainable culture, oriented toward the future and the creation of long-term value.»
