Kontractor by Kopron Becomes Sponsor of Alvaro Bautista, WSBK World Champion

Kontractor by Kopron races alongside Alvaro Bautista, Superbike World Champion.

Driven by the sporting passion that has always characterised the Kopron Group, of which it is part, the Kontractor division is also taking to the track! It does so by choosing to sponsor the reigning World Champion and current WSBK standings leader, Alvaro Bautista.

Born in 1984 and of Spanish origin, Alvaro Bautista has competed in every category of the MotoGP World Championship since 2002, winning the 125cc World Championship title in 2006. The following year, he moved up to the 250cc class before making the major leap to the premier class in 2010, where he competed in over 150 races.

After sixteen years in MotoGP, he joined Superbike in 2019, racing in the colours of the Aruba.it Racing Ducati Team. In his debut year, Alvaro achieved an impressive 16 wins and 7 podiums, finishing second in the final WSBK World Championship standings.

After two years with Honda, during which he reached the podium three times, Bautista returned to the Panigale V4R of the Aruba.it Racing – Ducati team. The 2022 season was a triumphant one for the Spanish rider, who claimed 16 victories and reached the podium 31 times, becoming WorldSBK Champion in Race 2 of the Indonesian Round.
