The NECTION project in Ronchis has been completed.

Kontractor has completed and delivered the NECTION project in Ronchis (UD), an infrastructure dedicated to safe heavy-vehicle parking with integrated services. 
Developed over an area of more than 95,000 sqm, the project represents a benchmark for the evolution of infrastructures serving freight mobility.

An infrastructure serving logistics

The project led to the delivery of a secure parking area with 301 truck spaces, organised to ensure efficient flow management and operational safety.
The external areas, extending over more than 42,000 sqm, are complemented by a multifunctional building of around 1,700 sqm, designed to integrate services and functions supporting operations.
The completion also included the restaurant area, delivered according to the defined schedule, confirming the coordinated management of the entire development.

Integrated services and attention to people

The infrastructure includes spaces dedicated to truck drivers, including a refreshment area, services, relaxation areas and complementary functions. 
Specific areas are available for different types of vehicles, such as parking spaces for refrigerated trucks and special transport, together with services such as a washing tunnel and equipped spaces. 
The project introduces an advanced approach, with concrete attention to the quality of rest and the working conditions of operators. 

A project oriented towards sustainability and safety

The development integrates solutions aimed at efficient resource management, including a photovoltaic system, LED lighting and systems for rainwater collection and retention. 
The green areas, extending over more than 12,000 sqm, together with environmental mitigation measures, help improve integration into the local context. 
NECTION is also the first protected and secure parking area in Italy certified SSTPA by the European Union, a factor that strengthens the safety and quality level of the infrastructure. 

A result built together

The completion of the project is the result of shared work among the client, works supervision, designers, professionals and companies involved. 
Coordination among the different areas of expertise made it possible to respect schedules, objectives and quality standards, confirming the effectiveness of an integrated delivery approach.
